Working as an old-style elevator operator, Bobby’s encounters with the building’s odd inhabitants whittle away his enthusiasm and confidence, leaving him depressed and lonely. No-one shares his love for vertical transport (lifts, rockets, etc) and his attempts at making friends fall flat. When he rediscovers his usefulness, Bobby finally learns he needs to look at the positives and value himself no matter what.
